ALANON Shared Hope is group that supports friends and families of alcoholics and addicts. We share our experiences and support one another in an anonymous and safe environment. All are welcome.
ALATEEN is a peer support group for teens who are struggling with the effects of someone else’s problem drinking.
Santa Barbara Hospice offers a wide variety of free support groups that help people walk through grief and loss.
This group offers understanding support and information to friends and families of people living with serious mental health disorders. The group is facilitated by a trained and experienced family member. Participants have the opportunity, if they wish, to share their current situation with the group, who often have experienced similar issues and who can offer understanding, comfort and support. If requested the group can also often offer resources, ideas or suggestions which they have found helpful.
The group meets from 6:00-7:30 pm on Thursday evenings (except 4th Thursday when NAMI Membership Meeting is held 7:00-8:30).
This a free peer-led support group. This group is intended for anyone in the community who lives with depression or bipolar disorder. The group covers a wide range of topics, such as coping skills, as well as discussions of the challenges faced by individuals in the group.
We meet in-person at the Mental Wellness Center on Thursdays from 6-7:30 PM.
