In The Flow...

According to Webster’s Dictionary, “Flow” means “to move with a continual change of place...”

We are in 50 Days of Flow - which means we are moving with the Holy Spirit -continually changing... continually listening to the Spirit’s whisper... continually open wherever we find ourselves... continually ready to love well with whoever God puts in front of us or next to us.Flow is a continual reminder to us that following Jesus is a lifelong adventure. If you think the Christian life is boring, then you’re not living the Christian life the way it is meant to be lived. If you are bored following Jesus, then you are not following Jesus. This is not meant to be judgey or critical, but to make us all more aware that living in the flow of the Holy Spirit is how God wants us to live and love!

“Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.” -Galatians 5:25

You don’t want to miss this Sunday at Oceanhills! It’s Youth Sunday and Dr. Laila DiGuilio will be speaking along with our Discipleship Confirmation students who will be sharing reflections on the Holy Spirit. There's a silent auction and a Taco Truck after the service AND if you wear your Love Everyone Always t-shirt to church, we'll give you a raffle ticket at the door to win a sweet prize. What a joy and privilege to be part of a church family where young people are finding & following Jesus. I’m so proud that our church is committed to investing in the next generation. I can’t wait to have a front row seat this weekend to see the great things God is doing in and through our Youth Ministry. I hope you’ll join me in praying for our students and for God to open our hearts to hear His voice through them.

Just a reminder, we're praying this every day for 50 days:

Set a fire down in my soul,
that I can't contain, and I can't control.
I want more of you, God.

And come join us for free yoga in The Loft on Wednesdays from 4-5pm to pray, move, breathe, and worship.

In it together!
Jon

PS- Did you know our Women’s In-Town Retreat is sold out this Friday night? Let’s be praying for the 60 women who will be gathering to get renewed and recharged.
