Family Updates!

A Few Quick Things:

1. Foundations Class -it’s happening the 5 Tuesday nights in October - led by both Pastor Jon & Jono from 6:30-8 PM at Jamie Slone Wines on De La Guerra Street. This class is open to anyone and everyone – whether you are seeking to discover who God is, just beginning a relationship with Christ, or need a refresher course on the foundations of the faith…

2. In just a few weeks we will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary as a church family!  Whether you are brand new to Oceanhills, started the church with us, or fall somewhere in between, I hope you plan to be with us on that weekend November 2–4! The Friday night celebration event on the roof top of the MOXI is sold out but we do have a waiting list and if you do not have tickets and are still interested in attendingplease send us an email and we will try to accommodate you. The Sunday morning celebration at the Marjorie Luke Theater is going to be an incredibly God breathed morning. I just got out of a creative team meeting this morning collaborating, dreaming, planning for that Sunday and we have a few surprises up our sleeve… simply put: you don’t want to miss it!

3. We have 16 staff and leaders heading up to the BETHEL Conference this week to get recharged and renewed as they seek God together. Please take a moment and pray for the group that is going and for God to move mightily in their hearts!

Don’t forget- This Sunday we continue our series in the beatitudes: “The Good Life“. I know it’s early in the week but I have this deep sense in my spirit that the Spirit of God is going to touch and transform peoples hearts this weekend. This Sunday, come expectant and ready for God to move the room and for the Word of God to do the work of God in you!

AND... If you’re seeking to connect, grow, or serve at Oceanhills, please look for one of our Connection Specialists this Sunday out in the courtyard or at The Lemonade Stand- we want to help you take your next step spiritually!

God really is good… He’s better than you think!
