Life Groups

Weekly - an 8-10 week commitment January-March

Life is Better Together! Life Groups are gatherings of 3-12 people who want to know and experience more of the abundant life Jesus offers us. People in all stages and all kinds of spiritual backgrounds. They create space to be real with ourselves, God and others, so we can grow deeper and more mature. We have all kinds of options for life groups. Different life stages, times of day, online/in-person, topics. Just take a look at what interests you and sign up!

Move Groups

Currently Paused Due To Covid Numbers. Will restart soon.

These entry level groups are designed to get you moving with others from our church family. These are not commitment based but rather you get notified when and where the group will be going out. You can show up once or every time. A great way to get connected and have fun with others and get a taste of spiritual reflection. Just get on the list by signing up and you will get notified when people are going out!

IF Tables

Monthly Gatherings for Women

Small monthly gatherings of women around Santa Barbara to connect and have meaningful conversations about life, faith, and relationships. A place to connect, be free, and be real. Typically 2 hours, 4 questions, 6 women!  Inspired by the question “If God is real, then what?”

Women's Spiritual Friendships

Share life experiences with other women of any age at Oceanhills.

Meet each other for a walk or at your favorite coffee shop, share a picnic lunch together, take a hike together-- invite someone into life with you. It’s not complicated, share what’s on your heart. Learn from each other. Enjoy each other’s company. You don’t need to know much, God will open the door and lead you into the right conversations. There’s no pressure to become best friends or to keep meeting. It could be a one time meeting or plan to keep meeting together. It’s up to you and what your connection brings.

Men's Fire Pit Groups

Sign up in Fall 2021!

Mentoring was one of Jesus’ favorite tools for spiritual growth. He invited a few men to do life alongside him. They went and invited other men to do the same. At Oceanhills, mentoring continues to be a key way that men grow as followers of Christ. These partnerships can take many forms - sitting around a fire with a drink in hand, early morning hikes, dinners with a featured guest speaker. The point is, when older men come alongside younger men, God shows up in big ways. Want to be a mentor? Want to find a mentor? It’s time to take the next step.

Team World Vision

Click here for the Zoom Info. Session Links

While races and plans continue to shift, the need for clean water has never been more critical. This year, Team World Vision is participating in the PAMOJA 7Day6k, where we will complete a 6K every day for 7 days in a row the week of March 21st-March 27th.  6k is the average distance women and children in the developing world walk for water that is often not safe for drinking. By taking on the Pamoja 7Day6k Marathon and walking through your own in neighborhood in solidarity with these women and children, you can run or walk the full marathon distance split up over a week while you continue fundraising to provide clean water in communities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Santa Barbara Mission Conference

Who Is My Neighbor?: The 19th Annual Santa Barbara Mission Conference. In the midst of riots, racial tension, and widespread economic uncertainty, we’re gathering virtually with others from Santa Barbara and beyond to ask, “Who is My Neighbor?” Activist and author, Shane Claiborne, and nationally-recognized speaker, Dr. Reggie Williams, headline this year's conference. Breakout sessions on refugee care, immigration, the “Brown Church”, and incarnational ministry will be led by experts in their respective fields.
